NuPIC 2.0 Unveiled at EGENAI West Summit
We recently announced the latest version of our AI platform, NuPIC 2.0, at Enterprise Generative AI West. Designed to allow companies to deploy large language models (LLMs) on CPUs with efficiency, scalability and security, NuPIC 2.0 helps you:
- Build and scale AI applications on CPUs with no deep learning expertise
- Run LLMs with 100% privacy and security
- Leverage easy-to-use AI solutions and techniques like RAG
- Minimize TCO with a CPU-based approach
- Achieve results that can significantly outperform GPUs
As our CEO Subutai Ahmad said in the announcement, “With this latest version of NuPIC, we’ve solidified CPUs as the ideal architecture for generative AI deployments, empowering enterprises with unprecedented flexibility and simplicity.”
If you’re building applications that require LLMs to understand, predict, and generate text—like document analysis and retrieval, customer support and recommendation engines—contact us to discuss how NuPIC can help.
New Partnerships with F5, Cequence
We also announced new partnerships with F5, a multi-cloud application security and delivery company; and Cequence, a leader in AI-powered contract management.
We have integrated NuPIC into the F5 Distributed Cloud Platform to securely deliver LLM applications for edge and multi-cloud, regardless of deployment complexity. According to Pranav Dharwadkar, Vice President, Product Management at F5, “This partnership is game-changing for our customers, as they are no longer held back waiting for GPUs and can benefit from running their LLMs on F5 App Stack for inference at the edge with their confidential data remaining private with RAG. |
Cequence is using NuPIC to enhance their contract management solutions by developing unique models that are trained on the archives of client contracts. “This collaboration will enable us to provide legal professionals and procurement teams with even smarter, more efficient, and user-friendly solutions,” said Martin Ragan, Chief Revenue Officer at Cequence. |

Subutai joins gaming legend Will Wright at GamesBeat
Subutai recently sat with Will Wright, creator of The Sims and co-founder of Gallium Studios, for a discussion on AI in the gaming industry at GamesBeat 2024 in Los Angeles. Reflecting on the transformation he’s seen in his gaming career, Will shared that AI has the potential to make the biggest impact to date. Subutai and Will discussed the natural synergy between Numenta’s approach to AI and the gaming community – valuing data privacy and control over how designers are building games, and enabling them to deploy on local platforms at scale, ensuring accessibility to users everywhere.
Thank you for your continued interest in Numenta. Follow us on LinkedIn to make sure you don’t miss any updates.
