New Paper on Sparsity | Numenta News – March 2019

We recently released a new paper about the benefits of using highly sparse representations. Our co-founder Jeff Hawkins and VP of Research Subutai Ahmad gave a talk at Microsoft Research about applying the Thousand Brains Theory of Intelligence to practical machine learning systems. This month, Subutai also presented a poster at COSYNE 2019 with MIT professor Carmen Varela. Two of our researchers, Mirko Klukas and Marcus Lewis, released a new paper on grid cells in collaboration with Ila Fiete of the Department of Brain and Cognitive Sciences at MIT....
