Our Director of ML Architecture Lawrence Spracklen is invited to be a panelist at a workshop on manufacturing and integration challenges for analog and neuromorphic computing hosted by the U.S. Department of Energy’s Advanced Manufacturing Office on August 13, 9:55-10:25AM PT.
This workshop is the third in a series of workshops from AMO on semiconductor R&D for energy efficiency. During the upcoming workshop, representatives from the research community will discuss the latest advances in analog and neuromorphic computing hardware technologies, which industries and applications are best suited to benefit from them, and the engineering barriers and challenges that slow or prevent scale-up and potential integration with current semiconductor technologies. The input gathered in the workshop will help inform the research focus areas considered by AMO in fulfilling its mission to improve energy efficiency and decarbonize manufacturing industries significantly by 2030.
